Lincolnshire is a fantastic County for walking. The vast fields and big skies of the Lincolnshire Fens. The rolling Wolds, where you can walk to the highest point in the County; the winding footpaths leading to historic villages. In the east, the coast, with its fabulous, clean beaches, nature reserves and endless vistas. In the west, magnificent Lincoln and far-reaching views from the Lincoln Edge. All are waiting to be discovered – and Ramblers will take you there.
From 5 to 15 miles, there are distances and paces to suit everybody, plus you can be sure that a Ramblers walk will be well-organised. You’ll be led by people who know the area and you’ll discover places you would never have thought of visiting. Also, in the unlikely event that an accident should occur, it’s comforting to be with people who have first aid and navigation skills. Plus, you are welcome to try three walks before we ask you to become a member.
There are over 500 Ramblers Groups around the country and being a member of the Ramblers means you can walk with any of them, either locally or while you’re away on holiday. It opens up a wealth of walking experiences: discover different types of walks, meet new people, and walk on different days, wherever you are.
